This advanced framing system features a patent-pending glazing pocket design that enhances energy performance while allowing for the integration of optional accessories to further reduce total window Uw values, achieving ratings as low as 1.9. Available in 101.6mm and 150mm x 60mm frame depths, it includes a 38mm wide glazing pocket that accommodates double-glazed options up to 32mm. The thermally broken sub-framing is engineered to support heavy double-glazed units and offers a two-piece sub-jamb option for simplified installation.
A thermally broken hinge door threshold is also available, while the glazing pockets are designed to support large IGUs, ensuring compliance with AS1288. Secure glazing is achieved through fully captive backing gaskets on the exterior, allowing for reglazing from the inside. Colour-coded glazing wedges, ranging from 3mm to 7mm in 1mm increments, provide precise fitting. This system is available in both internally and externally glazed options and seamlessly integrates with the ThermAFrame® 50mm Commercial Door and Awning Window.
