The ThermAFrame® Centre Pocket system features a patent-pending glazing pocket design that enhances energy performance and allows for the integration of optional accessories to further reduce total window Uw values, achieving ratings as low as 1.7. Available in 101.6mm and 150mm x 60mm frame sizes, it includes a 38mm wide glazing pocket that supports double-glazed options up to 32mm. The thermally broken sub-framing is designed to accommodate heavy double-glazed frames, with an optional thermally broken hinge door threshold for improved efficiency.
Engineered to support large IGUs, the glazing pockets provide the necessary glass cover to comply with AS1288 standards. Secure glazing is ensured through fully captive backing gaskets, allowing for both internal and external glazing. Colour-coded glazing wedges, available in 1mm increments from 3mm to 7mm, enable precise installation. This system seamlessly integrates with the ThermAFrame® 50mm Commercial Door and Awning Window, offering a high-performance and adaptable framing solution.
