This innovative framing system features a patent-pending glazing pocket design that enhances energy performance and allows for the integration of optional accessories to further reduce total window Uw values, achieving ratings as low as 1.9. Available in 101.6mm and 150mm x 60mm frame sizes, it includes a 38mm wide glazing pocket that supports double-glazed options up to 32mm. The thermally broken sub-framing is engineered to accommodate heavy double-glazed frames and offers a two-piece sub-jamb option for easier installation.
A thermally broken hinge door threshold is also available, while the glazing pockets are designed to accommodate large IGUs, ensuring compliance with AS1288. Secure glazing is achieved through fully captive backing gaskets on the exterior, allowing for reglazing from the inside. Colour-coded glazing wedges, available in 1mm increments from 3mm to 7mm, ensure precise installation. This system is available in both internally and externally glazed configurations and seamlessly integrates with the ThermAFrame® 50mm Commercial Door and Awning Window.
